Our commitment
Master Digital Skills exists to publish the most useful, accurate, and honest content we can about AI, digital marketing, and the creator economy. Everything we publish goes through a documented editorial process designed to ensure quality, accuracy, and reader trust.
Editorial standards
- Accuracy first. We verify facts, test tools, and cite primary sources wherever possible.
- Independence. No advertiser, sponsor, or affiliate has any influence over our editorial coverage. Ever.
- Originality. Our content is researched and written by humans, often with AI assistance for speed, but never as a copy-paste from an AI model. We do not republish or rewrite competitor content.
- Specificity. We avoid vague generalities. If we say something works, we explain how, when, and for whom.
- Currency. Topics in our space change fast. We update guides at least every 6 months and mark each one with a "last updated" date.
Our editorial process
- Topic selection. Topics come from reader questions, search demand, gaps in existing coverage, or emerging trends. Editors select topics, not advertisers.
- Research. Writers conduct primary research — testing tools, reading official documentation, interviewing practitioners, reviewing case studies.
- Writing. Articles are drafted by writers with relevant domain experience. Bylines are real. Author credentials are disclosed.
- Editorial review. A second editor reviews every article for accuracy, clarity, structure, and adherence to our standards.
- Fact-checking. Specific claims, statistics, and tool features are fact-checked before publication.
- Publication. Articles go live with a clear publication date, byline, and "last updated" timestamp.
- Updates. Articles are revisited every 6 months and updated when something material changes.
Our use of AI in writing
We use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and others) as research assistants and drafting aids. We never publish AI-generated content without substantial human research, editing, fact-checking, and POV.
- The frameworks, opinions, and recommendations come from our writers — not AI.
- AI may help with phrasing, structure, or summarizing source material.
- Every published piece has been read, edited, and signed off by a human editor.
Sources and attribution
When we cite statistics, studies, or quotes, we link to primary sources whenever possible. Where we paraphrase or build on other writers' ideas, we credit them. We do not borrow content without attribution.
Conflicts of interest
Our writers and editors disclose conflicts of interest. If a writer has a financial interest in a product they're covering, that's disclosed in the article. Writers who actively work with brands we're covering are not assigned to that coverage.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some articles contain affiliate links — meaning we earn a small commission if you purchase through them at no extra cost to you. We only include affiliate links for products we'd recommend even without them. Affiliate compensation has zero influence on our coverage. Articles containing affiliate links carry a clear disclosure.
Sponsored content (when we publish it) is always clearly labeled with the word "Sponsored" prominently displayed.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it openly:
- Minor corrections (typos, broken links): fixed silently.
- Substantive corrections (incorrect facts, changed pricing, outdated screenshots): fixed with a visible correction note describing what was changed and when.
- Major corrections (a recommendation we'd no longer make): fixed with a prominent note at the top of the article.

Ethics
- Honesty in everything we publish.
- Transparency about our sources, methods, and business model.
- Independence from advertisers and outside influence.
- Respect for readers — no clickbait, no manipulation, no dark patterns.
- Inclusivity in coverage and language.
